About Alten Haus

Alten Haus comprises three rustic ranch homes, each with spacious lush lawns, located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Each home houses from eight to 22 age 55 and over members, keeping resident-to-staff ratios small and enabling each community member to get as much support as they require, from assistance with activities of daily living, to diabetes support, incontinence care, and mobility support. Alten Haus’s trained and compassionate staff are available around the clock to assist with anything residents need. All staff are screened and required to complete an intensive, state-certified training course. The staff are supported by licensed home health care nurses who make regular visits to assess the health of the community members. Speech, occupational, and physical therapies can all be offered on-site. Any ongoing health conditions of the residents are diligently monitored by the staff. Alten Haus has lovely shared spaces, including sizable dining rooms, cozy lounges, spaces for tabletop games, and expansive porches with rocking chairs perfect for enjoying a morning coffee with a neighbor or housemate. Residents have the options of private or semi-private bedrooms. Three nutritious meals are provided daily, as well as snacks upon request, with accommodations for dietary preferences and needs.
