Review for American House Livonia Senior Living

The facility is always clean, with kind staff members, good meals and a fabulous activities coordinator who makes an effort to include everyone. The only negative items or areas of improvement I can think of would be better security at the front entrance, better insect/pest control and more patio furniture added for outdoor enjoyment. All in all, we are very pleased.

Our family experience

The facility was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. For assisted living it looks like a great place. I see people doing activities in the common area often. The place does not smell bad at all. Unfortunately I don't think the facility was a good choice for a person that is bedridden and on hospice.

Our meeting with their representative was very informative. The facility was very clean. Everybody was very sociable. We decided to lease a two room unit from them for our father and they have been very helpful.

Good fit for dad

The staff seems to be concerned for my father's care. He can be difficult at times. My dad's got around a 400 square foot apartment with toilet, shower, kitchen faucet and a small refrigerator. Heat and water are included

It's hard to remember 1 facility from the next. It seemed somewhat an older facility with some updates. Clean & adequate. Our family is still touring & comparing offerings of each place. We still need to see more.

I've had a wonderful experience with American House. My mom is in Hospice there and I could not ask for better care from their Medical team. Food is great, rooms get cleaned once a week, clothes are picked up once a week to wash and returned the same day. The activity director is absolutely wonderful and does things to get all involved.
