Not what was promised, do not recommend

I felt the lady that did the tour of the facility fed me a pack of lies. I was told a 7 patient to one cna ratio..it turned to 12 to one or more especially on the weekends. we were told the call button would be answered in 5 minutes or less. more like 20 . food is improving..getting more fresh fruit. they do a good job of cleaning. had to get on them to not leave soiled chucks pads or diapers in her room because of smells. at [Amount Removed] a month I thought that would at least take soiled stuff with them. everyo…

Do not recommend

We moved Mom into the facility in [date removed]. The facility, service, staff, and food were adequate. However, in January all aspects degraded and were much worse than initially. By, April we were starting to look for an alternative.

Nice fit for mom

The faculty is beautiful inside and outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They treat my mom with loving care. They have a very good security system to keep the residents safe. Everything is clean and tidy. My mom gets 3 meals a day. They also have snacks and specialty treats for the residents . They have activities throughout the day.and have a big TV that they clients all have an opportunity to watch. We were able to decorate my mom’s room and have a big bird feeder and decorations outside my mom’s big …

They’re very welcoming and it is by far a great place. We came during happy hour and there was nothing but smiles and laughter. Everyone seemed genuinely happy from staff to resident!

The perfect place for a loved one

I contacted about seven facilities and toured many of them looking for a care facility for my dad. Glen Abbey was perfect, not too big and not too small. The facility itself is beautiful. And I honestly don’t have the words to describe the incredible staff. Transitions can be hard for our parents going from home to being in a care facility. From the moment dad moved in, he felt right at home. The staff got to know him, and he got to know the staff and they became fast friends. My dad enjoyed the exercise activitie…

Glen Abbey Review

It is a really nice facility. It's very clean and maintained. They present a very good sales pitch. They say they can do everything that you're looking for. However, they don't always have the appropriate staff to do everything that is necessary. I think this is the problem that you see everywhere but the staff is very nice and great and all of the daytime staff is excellent! It's evenings and weekends that have a little bit of incompetence.
