PositiveFood is very good as is kitchen staff. Care is good, depending somewhat on who you get. The staff answer phone calls, and answer the call button promptly. The building itself is beautiful inside & out. But individual room cleanliness could be a little better; you may have to point out something that needs attention, but staff is responsive when you do. No problems with billing and staff; AH does not appear to have the staff turnover some other places have.

PositiveThey stayed on top of everything and continue to check in with us until we found the right place. I would recommend and already have.

PositiveI was very pleased with American House, the staff, facility and the wonderful care my husband received there. I would definitely recommend it.

Criticaloverall and as for care, activities, food, I would also say 1! Every employee is truly helpful, on a personal level, seeming to work like a family. Specifically, I asked…

Positive[names removed] worked hard to get our business, and were easy to work with. Moving a loved one to assisted living, or moving from one community to another, can be stressful for a family. I think [names removed]understood that but also had a realistic view about things like retaining good staff. Communication is key; if I called with a question I was able to get a prompt answer. So far mom is happy with the move!
