PositiveThey are absolutely amazing there.
They are great there. I get updates from medical staff every time that they see her, she is in an aerobics program that they have at the gym. She seems to be very social there and she was lacking that at home. At home she just sat in the house. There she has made friends.

PositiveAmerican Village Fails to Communicate
I find them reluctant to communicate with those who live in the separate homes on the grounds. They don't communicate changes in schedules to us...expecting us to walk or drive to the main building where changes are written near the front desk.

PositiveAmerican Village
They have all levels of care independent, assisted, memory, rehab, short term, and long term care. The memory care rooms are nice and large, they fit any size bed and still have room for a couch or other seating. They don't feel like a down grade from the assisted living rooms. They will work with you to determine the level of care that is needed. You have the option of using their pharmacy, medical, dental, audio, and visual providers or you can manage those providers out of house. The only problem we have is th…

Some disorganized service from staff with long wait times. Good part is because it's one of the few around the Indianapolis area with both Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living under one roof that allows pets.
