Do your homework

The facilities are beautiful, well designed and appealing to the eye. The apartments and cottages are large and are configured traditionally with the bathroom, bedroom combination. The dining room, game room, lounge/library and cafe are all nice and welcoming. There really is no exercise room though they converted a meeting room into a place to conduct exercise classes. That's the strengths of the facility. The biggest flaws I've seen are two: There food service is very inconsistent, food quality, long service time…

Review for Ansel Park Independent Living

First of all everything here is spotless first class! We have a wonderful cottage and so far have been very happy with our experience. No place. is perfect and this one isn't either. There are things that I would change if I were asked. They work hard at pleasing people and the activities are abundant. They've had some staffing problems in administration, but they're seem to be getting everything straightened out. Nice place to live

I have a beautiful room, excellent security, the facilityis kept very clean, the staff is wonderful, but both the food and food service is well below expectations. The value for the money is very good. There are many nice activities offered.

Review for Ansel Park Independent Living

Ansel Park independent senior housing is a well kept, and peaceful community. The staff is very friendly and supportive. The only thing I find most disappointing is their food service. Lack of food service staff, long waits and inconsistent food quality. I would give Ansel Park a 4 out of 5.

Excellent facility, food needs improvements

All items above are "5" (excellent) EXCEPT for number "6" food, which I would rate between "0" and "2"!!!! The quality of food they buy is good, the amount put on the plate is adequate, and what is on the menu is good but the cooks DON'T know how to cook even the simplest items or what is delivered to the table is NOT what is described on the menu.
