Residents have the options of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, with pets also welcome. Tucked into a comfortable residential neighborhood, Windsor has on-site transportation services within a 15-mile radius, giving community members access to downtown Los Angeles, Griffith Park, and more. Windsor’s landscaped grounds feature flowering tropical plants, peaceful walking paths, and lush patio areas to relax and visit with the neighbors over a glass of California wine. Windsor’s community members enjoy the freedom to pursue their passions and interests while the staff handle the rest. Residents are offered three chef-prepared meals per day, weekly housekeeping services, and on-demand indoor and outdoor maintenance. Overall, the administrative staff and nursing care team stand out positively and have been responsive and caring. I do not have any specific feedback regarding the therapy staff at this time. I would like to share a few areas that need improvement: Room cleanliness requires greater attention and consistency. I am uncertain whether weekly laundering of bed sheets and towels is being completed when those items are not placed in the hamper. PositiveA Sterling Senior Community in the heart of Glendale.
Likes: Friendliness, activities, cleanliness and overall concern for residents. Least like: food (it's better - but not quite there yet) What stood out for us about Ararat Gardens over other places was their concern for any COVID outbreak last year if any - they made sure visitors wear a mask and they had self testing at the entrance. Also, all visitors - all times - sign in at entrance at kiosk - a number of facilities we visited didn't do this.
