My aunt enjoys the companionship and activities, especially their movie theatre. The food selection is typically good and if not they always have good burgers, hotdogs, sandwiches, or salad. Being her POA, I wish the communication was better with extended services. For example for the last 2 months she hasn't needed the extensive care they have charged despite us requesting a reevaluation. We managed to finally get that scheduled by communicating with the director. Other than that I/we have no concerns.

Thumps Up with Cavaeats

Generally, we're happy there. The main reason it was chosen was geography. 1 mile from family. Everyone is super friendly and the place is immaculately clean. When it come to care, scheduling things, it's a bit of a circus. They are trying, but they are massively disorganized. Showers scheduled, nobody shows up, replacement workers show up, they are under qualified. Food is sufficient, not great, not bad, very average.

Not perfect, but still glad they're there

The rooms are great, and the fact that they have balconies is especially nice (1-bedroom). It is a very nice, pleasant place. I have had some frustrations with the administration. Mostly, they didn't orient us very well upon signing the contract/moving in. Also, we filled out a lot of forms, and I don't feel like they reviewed the forms to know what they needed to do. My aunt loves the Burbank Ivy Park. The employees are kind and seem to genuinely care for the residents. The food is good and the physical building is beautiful always festive, and kept clean. The activities are fantastic for gaining community and involvement.
