PositiveA clean well-cared for space. Not many folks were there because they were on a field trip to a movie - a good thing. The rooms I saw were about the right size for someone with dementia. I had a good feeling from beginning to end. The only detractor was my getting there and getting back again - I'll blame this on my unfamiliarity with the area and road system.

A very important factor is that the food is excellent. This was really important to our father as where he was in South Carolina was subpar. The facility is also very clean and nicely decorated. The staff are attentive and check on him frequently. His little studio apartment is very nice with a big window that lets in lots of sunshine on a large bathroom with an easy access shower. He loves having his own little kitchenette, even though there's no stove he can make his own coffee and microwave and there is a fridge…

1.Overall experience 5 2.Cleanliness of the facility 3 – the common areas were very clean, but it was a challenge at times making sure my dad’s apartment was clean – a lot of times, the trash was overflowing and it didn’t look like the bathroom was cleaned very often – the floors in my dad’s apartment were clearly not vacuumed very much and there would be spills on the hard surface floor that sat there for over 2 weeks at a time. 3.Friendliness 5 – Lisa Henderson at the concierge/reception desk was fantastic!
