Very understaffed

Very disappointed as we did the tours and asked our questions and thought we had found a caring experienced community geared to dementia memory patients. The reality is they are understaffed- not one caregiver to eight patients as we were told, but rather 1:12 patients. Pills were not given when scheduled or not at all. Your wife stayed with us for 4 days and during that time all medications were provided, and her personal care needs were met, as our entire team remains committed to ensuring that all of our residents receive quality care. Additionally, you were only required to pay for those 4 days up front and were not billed for 30 days, so a refund would not have been necessary. Regarding the incidents involving other residents during your wife's stay, our community serves individuals living with dementia-related behaviors such as wandering or confusion about personal spaces. We understand how concerning these situations can feel for families, and our staff works diligently to redirect residents and maintain a safe and supportive environment for everyone. In the situation involving the toaster, our follow-up determined that the appliance had been unplugged by a resident but was never thrown. The incident involving the shadow box was rectified the same day. We appreciate your kind words about our caregiving and life enrichment team members, who work hard every day to support residents with compassion and dignity, especially during challenging situations. I toured Arden Courts Bath on [Date remvoed]. It's a very nice facility that is well taken care of. The outdoor area is very nice, large area and completely fenced in. Instead of one building with a large common room and dining room, the facility has 4 buildings with 14 residents each with its own dining area, activity room, reading room, etc. There is a common area where the 4 buildings connect. Happy mom, peace of mind for me

The staff is very patient and responsive. They engage the residents with the activities not just offer activities. They encourage residents to engage in activities that make them feel valuable. The facility is wonderfully designed and feels like home. Mom has settled right in.

[name removed] was very informative and provided a great deal of information. However the rooms were too small and the upkeep i.e. the walls had fingerprints and needed either washing or repainting. It didn't feel cozy just cramped

Highly recommend for memory care

They have helped our family tremendously through one of the most difficult journeys we’ve been on. Their knowledge and patience is miles beyond what we saw at other facilities. I would give Arden Courts 10 stars if I could.
