Through compassionate, intentional, and comprehensive care and open communication, Heritage Crossing works hard to keep residents and their loved ones satisfied. Individual residents’ peace of mind is the staff’s main priority. Community Details The staff at this community work hard to help ensure all residents’ personal care needs are met. By providing services such as diabetic care, ambulatory care, incontinence care, memory care, and medication management, staff help residents complete their activities of daily living. Community health care specialists also make regular on-site visits to provide ancillary services to residents. An on-site professional chef thoughtfully prepares and serves three meals to residents in the restaurant-style dining room. Dietary accommodations can also be made as needed. In between meals, residents are encouraged to get involved in the community activities and events that take place on-site and off-site. Living Arrangements Residents at Heritage Crossing have the option of studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and semi-private apartment styles to call home. Apartments come equipped with amenities such as wheelchair-accessible showers, Wi-Fi, kitchenettes, private patios or decks, cable or satellite TV, and air conditioning. Ground-floor units or respite stays may be available at the time of interest. Care Types Offered Heritage Crossing is a residential care facility . All 5 so far. Staff cares more than the past 3 SNF/AL facilities we experienced. Activities are excellent and residents are encouraged to participate rather than spend time in rooms. Staff to resident ratio is very good. Food is excellent compared to other facilities. Looming organizational changes is our only main concern at this point as they reportedly consider using Med Techs to replace nurses.

The nurses, care partners and activities team are really awesome. Super helpful and communicative. The administrative staff has been in constant rotation. No consistency, poor communication. In the last year they switched some admin tasks to the regional office which has helped but no executive leader for many months. Communication from corporate is very unclear.

My dad really liked it there and everyone was so helpful and friendly to him. He was only there about 6 weeks before he passed but I am eternally grateful for each and every staff member and the wonderful care they gave him. He could never walk in the halls without someone stopping to say hello. They really made his last days the best.

The nursing staff is absolutely wonderful as far as attentiveness to my parents. They can be difficult to reach via phone. The administrative portion of their facility is poor. My father has been out of facility since New Years Day and i wanted to make sure they wont be charged for his care. No call back. Then the tenant above my parents had a flood and it came thru my patents ceiling. No call back after several phone calls and leaving messages at the front desk from anyone on the game plan on how it will be fixed.…
