Arlington Place Review

Aides are very helpful and the cook ask your opinions on the food. . Lots of activities. Building is well maintained. They celebrate birthdays with your favorite food. They offer transportation to doctors appointments locally. I like that you can have your pet.

Review for Arlington Place at Oelwein

I would strongly recommend it. We picked this community because it was small and did not have very many people. My dad has social anxiety and Alzheimer's. He needed a place, where he can't get lost, and a place that feels homey, and one with few people so he doesn't get overwhelmed. He absolutely loves it there. He was at another community for a month before that and never left his room.

My brother and I were looking for an alternative living for our parents. They were doing well on their own but with neither of us living in town we were concerned about what would happen when they could no longer drive. The townhouse at Arlington Place fit the bill. They are independent but it gives us peace knowing that if a problem arises that help is close by. Twice they have used their Life Alert and had immediate help. The townhouse is nice.Our only concern is that the kitchen cupboards aren't easy to access. …

Perfect place for my parent

A parent has been a resident here for over 1 year and I couldn't be happier with the place. It is a safe and beautiful facility with caring and competent staff. The family feels supported and informed, and included in decision making. There are constant opportunities for activities to enrich the lives of the residents. Move In

Moved my mother in on a Sunday. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. Anything we needed the staff went above and beyond to make sure we got what we needed. Even the kitchen staff helped out. The apartment that my mother moved into was very clean and freshly painted. On our first tour they were willing to answer any questions that we had and they were so pleasant. We haven’t had the food or been to activities yet so I cannot comment on those things at this time.
