About the community
Artis Senior Living of Bridgetown At Artis, we help people living with dementia achieve the essential human need for purpose, belonging, and joy by building a bridge between their lifelong identity and present daily life. By “Honoring Yesterday, Celebrating Today,” we create safer, more connected, more celebrated lives. Our holistic well-being framework is comprised of four essential components, in optimal combination: supportive environment, discreet care, social connection, and cognitive health. We collaborate with the resident, their family, doctors, and care partners to create an assessment-based plan of care, with supervision by on-site 24-hour licensed nursing staff and 24-hour dementia care-trained associates on-site. We also offer coordination with third-party and visiting therapists, clinicians, and specialists. Our thoughtfully designed community consists of four distinct, locally themed neighborhoods, 12,000+ sq. ft. of secure outdoor space with walking paths and seating, and a Town Square with centralized amenities. Suites featuring doorway shadow boxes to aid wayfinding, dedicated family photo shelving, and ADA-compliant bathrooms. We make mealtime both nourishing and meaningful, with dietitian-approved menus served family-style on brightly colored place settings to encourage appetite. Special diets are happily accommodated. We honor each resident’s history, interests, and personal qualities, with opportunities to build strength and balance, restore dexterity and cognitive skills, bond with neighbors and unlock memories through music, reduce stress, have a voice in community events, and continue to make a difference.

PositiveThe facility is quite nice. It is clean, tastefully decorated, has a nice outdoor area. The food is healthy. My mom really likes the meals. There are activities daily. I always get a welcome response when I talk with staff.

CriticalHave had my wife there for over a year. In the last two to three months it has gone downhill drastically. You've gotten rid of a couple of administrators did not replace them. The general help known as AIDS or insufficient lazy non-conforming people. For what this place charges , they should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves people that are left there should be given a discount. There's a few very good nurses still work there but the rest of the staff and help are horrible. You try to talk to some of the help abo…

PositiveOf all the facilities I looked at, Artis had all the things that would benefit my wife. She is able to get outside and walk, the quality of care is great. They have many activities to keep them occupied and nursing care is wonderful and helpful.

PositiveI think Artis is a great place for my mother-in-law. I've had other experiences with my own parents at a different facility and Artis is really a wonderful place. I really have no criticisms of Artis, so on 1-7, I would probably give them a 5.
