Excellent place

My mom was in Aspen Memory Care for over a year. She had the best care not just on her good days but even on her worst days. The love and compassion they have for the residents is more than I could ask for. I didn't have to worry about her I knew she was being taken care of.

Go in with realistic expectations. The staff is caring and patient, far more than others in Bend. The facility may be older but it's nice, clean, and the support and compassion of the staff (from the very to on down) make this an exceptional experience in such a stressful phase of life.

Our family had an in person tour with Aspen Ridge Memory Care and overall we did think based on what we saw - it was a very nice tour experience but it was just not going to fit all of our loved ones needs.

This place was ok. At the tour, they did tell me that they had a 2 week waiting period before move ins. That wasn't an issue for us, but after putting us on the list they never ever called us back.

Staff kindness

My mother at 97 was at Aspen Ridge. The kindness of the entire staff was exemplary. During her passing, they kept the quiet sacred space, visited her often. Even the director kissed her on the forehead. They took care of every detail to make our life easier including a smooth relationship with hospice. After her passing, some of the staff went in one by one to say a prayer and let her know how much she meant to them. many of the staff even came up to me to tell me that my mother changed their lives by her example. …

Caring Community of Caregivers

My father lived at Aspen Ridge Memory Care in Bend, OR, for 6 years. In his time with this organization, I always felt content that he was part of their family. Memory care is a difficult business, but under the current management team, I have witnessed an esprit de corps within the ranks that allows a coordinated effort to provide quality care for its residents.
