CriticalThere are some good aspects of Atria, some of the staff and the activities. The wellness center is a joke. The aides and waitstaff can be rude and very nasty. My mother is not happy there but this is what I am hearing at all of the assisted living places. The management doesn't hire enough staff and the aides are overwhelmed and they take their stress out of the residents. I am very disappointed in assisted living. My mom is paying a lot of money. She just wants to relax and feel safe and instead she is yelled at a…

PositiveMy friend loves the activities including the movies and lectures. People are very friendly and she's made nice friends. She also loves that it is near town and the daily light cleaning. She feels the food needs improvement. She is gluten intolerant and she can't get a gluten free meal most of the time. I am wondering why that should be a problem when so many people have this issue. They bread a lot of the food and she vomits quite often because of that. They also put pepper in food and she is allergic to that.

PositiveMy dad loves the food there....apartment size is decent. He has a lot of boxes of photos (he's 96 and has been taking pics for a good 80 years of that) and we still need to figure out where that's going to go...but that's an us thing. Important to be clear about special accommodations...though my dad was forgetfully dismissing some services he was initially requesting. But if you communicate with staff they are super helpful. my dad loves Atria in general. They seem pretty consistently solid.

PositiveThe staff- 5 out of 5. Aides, wait staff, maintenance, front desk, drivers. Administration- 4 out of 5. Always friendly, happy to see you, but not always easy to get a hold of. I would recommend Atria Cutter Mill to other families

PositiveMy aunt and mom were together. They are ok nice enough. Pay more attention to you when they want to get you in but in general they are good. They have to give residents a choice for breakfast. My family hates waking up early getting dressed and going down for breakfast. They have bought up to them but they would rather start their day a little later. We got them Keurig and bought breakfast stuff for them to have breakfast at their leisure.
