I found that the staff was very attentive to my loved one's needs and was in constant communication with me regarding health. Only staff member I was not 100% happy with was the facility Dr (nurse was good) who was very difficult to reach ... however all other staff was great.

Harborview - Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn..... I would like to say the staff was phenomenal, very attentive to my father's needs and tried to make him feel at home as much as possible for an assistive living facility. They treated him with utmost care and he felt as if they were his friends as well. They check on the residents throughout the night to ensure their safety. CriticalStay away
It was so bad. I would give the quality of care no stars if I could, it was horrible. For instance my mom was in a shared room and they put a Alzheimer's dementia patient in with her who was a kleptomaniac. She frightened my mother and they moved her out and then after that her care got even worse. I would tell others do not moved your loved ones in here.

CriticalMom and I toured this community, it wasn't the best fit for her. The facility itself is ok, very modern. Mom wanted a more cozy setting. The outdoor grounds seemed a little more challenging also, as far as the residents being able to have outside time. It's on a hill and seemed like it would be hard for some to navigate/walk around comfortably.
