Founded under Atria Senior Living, Atria Larson Place in Connecticut is an extension of the exceptional senior living, care, and services that Atria is known for. We offer older adults independent living, assisted living, and memory care lifestyle options. Community Services and Amenities Atria Larson Place encourages an active atmosphere. We support residents discreetly when needed and offer activities and events for all to enjoy. Staff are available 24 hours a day to accommodate residents with daily tasks and medication as needed. Every resident has unique needs and preferences, and so we personalize our services to best meet their needs. Through our assisted living and Life Guidance® memory care programs, our dedicated staff work to support each resident in their daily endeavors. Three, chef-prepared and nutritious meals are made daily in our dining room, where residents can enjoy meals and conversations. We also maintain a full calendar of engaging events through our Engage Life® program, where residents can explore volunteer opportunities, exercise classes, a variety of team games, and much more. To help reduce waste, save on postage, and avoid the risk of delays and late fees, Atria residents can make secure online payments automatically each month. The Community Business Director at the community of your choice can help you sign up upon move-in. Living Arrangements We offer an appealing selection of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units. Each unit features ample space, private baths, kitchenettes, closets, and emergency alert systems. Utility packages are included in the monthly rate, so residents never have to bother with an additional bill. Apartment and housekeeping services are administered regularly to uphold optimal safety, comfort, and cleanliness. After the papers were signed and the money was paid, that's when they explained that they were a social model (which I never heard of before). They kept calling me about my mother's behavior. She was being sent to the hospital every few days. They suggested that she go to Masonicare to have her medication assessed. She was there for 3 weeks. When they were contacted about her release, they did not respond. They basically abandoned her and we had to rush to find another place for her. She never got back to where she…

Poor experience. Do not promote this facility. They can be honest and explain what the social model is before you sign the contract. They assessed my mother while she was in a rehab, agreed to take her. After she moved in, they repeatedly sent her to the hospital. We followed the suggestion to send her to [name removed] and have her medication assessed. After 3 weeks, the social worker made several calls for Atria to assess her. They never came, abandoned her. We had to scramble to find her a new home. We paid for …
