Lack of communication led to poor care

My main problems had to do with admin. [name removed] the sales director was great and was the one person I could rely on. I was frustrated with their lack of communication. They would let my parents go to the store on outings, and would then go into their room once they were at lunch and take most of the things they bought. Mom was well taken care of

My mom was a resident in the memory care facility for just over a year. She enjoyed her 'home' as she called it and loved the food and her new friends. I knew that she was going to be taken care of. The aides and staff were wonderful to her and to us. Always caring and inquiring if we needed anything. In these last few months as her dementia progressed they were most caring and compassionate. Now that she has passed I can say that moving mom her for the last months of her life was the best thing we could have done,…

Very friendly and professional impression of all personnel. A great place and my second choice. Rooms were a little nicer at Ivy park so all other items being equal I chose Ivy park. [name removed] who was my point of contact at the Atria did gave me an excellent introduction to the Atria. Thank you

Turned out to be a great fit

Now that she's settled in, a 5 on all of them. The first couple months were a little tough for her but she loves it there now. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful. They also have a new activity director. And, just making friends

Our family's experience

All the staff is very friendly! Food is ok. Not great or fabulous, but ok. Parking is quite difficult much of the time. Not enough guest parking most of the time which is tough!! ?? His 1 bedroom is adequate for his needs.

Terrific staff. Professional, friendly and abke to answer questions. Facility is lovely and clean. Had a chance to try the food- delicious. The food staff was outstanding! Noticed our server was addressing the residents by name. He was so caring and patient, yet efficient. Christy explained the process of applying to get into Atria. She told us about the caregivers& answered all our questions. The courtyards are a but small for my mother in law’s taste but still a fantastic place. .
