About Atrium at Oak Crest Residence

As a member of the Elgin, Illinois, community for over a century, Atrium at Oak Creek Residence is thrilled to provide care to seniors of the greater Chicago area. We were founded in 1904 and sit right on the Fox River on a beautifully shaded campus with gorgeous oak trees and Central Park just across the street. We are a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide person-centered care and lead with our core values of holistic wellness, total personalization, dignity, encouragement, and acceptance. Community Amenities and Services We offer a variety of services and are committed to creating a care plan that suits your needs. We offer independent living in the Atrium, assisted living in Oak Crest, vacation and recuperation care at Thrive, adult day care, and memory care. Our memory care unit is tried and true and has been developed by the Oak Creek organization. We keep the dignity and independence of our residents at the center of everything we do. We are also well-equipped to handle ambulatory, incontinence, and diabetic care as well as medication management. Whether you are entering our residence for respite care or hospice, we provide the same commitment to providing you with all the care you need. A large part of our mission is to care for residents’ spirits as well as their bodies! With a variety of on-site and off-site activities, residents can explore hobbies, join groups, listen to speakers, and go on outings. Grab a drink with family and friends at our on-site Cellar Pub, or make one of your favorite recipes in our Family Kitchen. Paint like Picasso in Mary’s Assembly Hall, or watch your favorite film on George’s Stage. Pick up the necessities at The Corner of Tidbits & Trends Store, and get your beard trimmed or your nails painted at The Spa. With so many activities to choose from, your loved ones will ask to come over and visit often! Living Arrangements Our beautiful New England style estate is where comfort and luxury meet to provide a tranquil yet engaging environment. All residents enjoy private suites and can choose from a variety of spacious floor plans depending on the type of care they receive during their stay. All private residences are bathed in natural light and are outfitted with cozy, inviting furniture and decor.
