PositiveBest experience for the family at a very difficult time
Avista provided end of life care for my father. They did a wonderful job managing his care in cooperation with hospice. He did not like the food but he was a picky eater and also didn't want to eat very much anyway. He was too weak to participate in activities. The cost was very high due to his medical needs. I am very grateful for the care he received. The staff was very friendly and they really tried to make him feel welcome and comfortable even though he was not happy to have to be there. First of all I would like to say that this place is just what Mom needed. Mom wasn't doing as well as she could have been living at home by herself. She has neuropathy which can make it unbearable to walk and she also suffers from congestive heart failure. When Mom decided it was time for assistance, we took a tour and SHE decided this was the place to be. We purchased a mobility wheelchair so that she could go anywhere she wanted to and now she has the freedom to even enjoy evenings on the patio! Another factor i…

4 to 5 months ago I had my loved one here. The care was so amazing . Jessica was the best help and the most caring person. I needed furniture for the room and Jessica helped go out and buy some. Chelsea the activities director had something going on everyday. One forth of July I came to visit and a storm was coming and it started to rain.
