Great place for mom

My loved one has had a wonderful experience here so far. The community is always very clean, and housekeeping and laundry are included in the monthly cost, which has been a great convenience. She lives in a studio apartment that is a comfortable size and fits her needs well. She enjoys the daily activities and especially looks forward to the weekly outings. Last spring, I visited eight different assisted living communities in the greater Hartford area and beyond. Aviva was the last stop on my itinerary. know they have had excellent reviews by others. This was our only experience with assisted living. Mom was there for nine months. The last 4 months, I had to get in additional care. At the very end, I had to hire a night nurse. Some of the disappointments were that the laundry list an entire bag of new towels I had just brought in. I love them!! The facility is beautiful, and the staff goes above and beyond! The sales manager was unbelievably helpful and he worked with us to get my dad the best possible place for the best possible price. My dad is very particular, and can live independently, he just didn't want the stress of owning a home anymore. He is almost 91!
