Residents can take a stroll through our spacious yard, enjoying the beauty that our assisted living community has to offer. Our residents will be able to retire without worries in our community. Our highly trained staff will make your loved one's residency with us one that they will love. From our 24-hour nursing assistance to just being available to talk to our residents, getting to know each one of them personally, your loved one will feel right at home. We encourage socialization among our residents in order to help them make friends in our community. Our staff plan a wide variety of social activities, allowing residents to meet other residents with similar interests. We provide several levels of care in order to meet the changing needs of our residents, including assisted living, skilled nursing, and a rehabilitation center. There are also a number of amenities in order to make our residents' living quarters comfortable, including: Beauty and barber shop Pets are welcome Recreation room Private rooms and bathrooms 24-hour nursing staff Three healthy meals per day Therapeutic services Our residents feel right at home in Bay Towers at Bixby Knolls and your loved one will, too.

CriticalImprovements needed
The admin changed about a year ago and the care has gone down. For instance, they haven't had hot water since [date removed]. I don't know if the new admin will bring up the care or not. But, it isn't a par right now. They should do more mobility activities like chair yoga and light weight training.

Rest assured, the hot water system has been fixed. Our Executive Director has an open-door policy if you have any further concerns.

For me personally I cannot open any of the Windows in my Place...I like some of the Activities.....Employees are courteous and helpful. Elevator is a bit scary.....Overall it is a nice Building, Seating is available outside....Most Employees are courteous and helpful!

Very friendly residents and staff. My mother has a one-bedroom apartment and is pleased with the layout and closet space. It's not a plush facility but very livable and affordable for what's provided. Can attend activities in both assisted & independent living.

CriticalThe building is located conveniently to a lot of places. The interior is nice and bright which is nice for low vision residents. The apartments are newly renovated with flooring and appliances. My biggest concern is with staffing. There isn’t a marketing person available on weekends and I kind of had trouble getting an initial tour. The person who helped me suddenly was gone and no one contacted me to let me know who I would be working with.

As you noted, we have a vibrant and close-knit community of seniors with professional staff support. We take pride in our service and appreciate your kind comments about our amenities.
