I would tell them that it's a safe place for a loved one and the staff is friendly and do their best to take care of the residents. No place is absolutely perfect, but I would recommend Benton House to a friend if they asked.

Superseded Our Expectations

Benton House has superseded all of our expectations, and Mom loves living there. [name removed], and all of the staff there, go above and beyond to help the residents and their families become situated and comfortable. Wonderful food, great variety of engaging and enjoyable activities , beautiful facility, and comfortable living arrangements.

I think it's an excellent place. We're happy we chose it!

We love them! We've had a really great experience here. We did not think my dad would handle moving in at all. He was 100% against it. But they have done a really great job at acclimating him. He feels safer, and he loves the food. He can be a very negative type of guy. So we are very impressed with it!

Don't judge a book by its cover

I would tell others to be very sure when you place your loved one that you get a good evaluation. They do not have a high tolerance for behavior issues and were quick to send my husband away and they asked us to move. The community fee was very steep. Since they asked us to move, I thought that should be partially refunded. The cleaning fee was also 3 full days of rent. It was a very expensive short stay. I do wish they would have given him more time to settle in because it is a lovely facility and everyone was ver…

Great Place

I would look into this community. The staff seem to be right on top of things most of the time. My loved one likes the meals and talks about them often. My loved one does not participate in the activities however, they do have activities for the residents.
