Sister of a resident

When I would leave my sis after a visit, I never felt anxious or worry that she wouldn't be cared for and that she wouldn't be safe. Every one of the care givers was always friendly, took an interest in my sis and worked hard to get her involved. Every care giver, right down to the housekeeper. I am thankful for Homestead. They gave me comfort in the last days of my sister's life.

Beautiful facility but needs better management

All good except admin staff, sneaky and not honest nor reliable. It is a beautiful facility. Nursing staff are great.

Nice Community

The staff is so nice, but their wait staff is slow, however it is restaurant styled so it is to be expected. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

They were ok. Just too expensive. The care was good though. The facility was too big. Did not have one on one care.

Loving and Respectful Staff

My son and I both give them a 5 on everything. (Didn't rate activities because my husband was past being able to participate in any activities.) The staff kept his music background in mind and were able to use it to help him negotiate several potentially difficult situations. They all treated him as a highly loved and respected member of their families. We couldn't be happier with his final months. The staff at Homestead helped make that time rich with good memories.

An Excellent Place for Mom

I think they're excellent. I regularly get calls form the staff when there are concerns. They are all very communicative. I see the head nurse out on the floor all the time. In memory care, everyone needs a fair amount of attention, and they take excellent care of my mother there. They do very well with the activities, and they continuously try to get her to participate. It's expensive but comparable to other places. It's worth it for the excellent care they give to my mother.
