Our families experience.

The staff at The Bickford is kind to my wife. She is clean and does not smell like urine. My wife eats the food and appears to like it. The unit is clean. The number of residents is small so my wife gets plenty of attention. She has a room to herself. It is kept clean. The administration has been helpful when there was a problem getting autopay set up. I don't know about activities.

Facility seemed very dated and apartment felt like a cheap motel room. The woman showing us around really was the only positive I could see.

The tour and interaction with i believe[name removed] was exceptional. Every thing was well explained. I would recommend the Bickford Assisted living to anyone that needs a good facility. It was small compared to many. But for myself and my husband that is perfect. He has Alzheimer's and myself anxiety. So to many people overwhelm us both. Quality care for your loved ones!

Bickford cottage has always been in the back of my mind for assisted living care because my girlfriend had her mom there, and she was so pleased with the attentive care given to her mom that I was impressed, too! The facility in general is well taken care of and very clean compared to the other places I have been involved with because of my husband's Alzheimer's disease. The staff is truly tremendous and go above and beyond to care for their patients, and I'm not just saying that because it sounds like. I can't express how safe and comfortable my mother and I both feel with her as a resident of Bickford. It's truly a family atmosphere where she is receiving exceptional care daily.
