CountryHouse in Lincoln (Old Cheney Road location) was designed and is staffed specifically for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia. From our many years of experience working with those needing memory care and their families, we know that consistency, security, comfort and a sense of well-being are some of the most important needs to be met. That sounds a lot like home – and that’s why treating people like family is at the core of what we do at CountryHouse. This isn’t a “typical” memory care community. Just walk in the doors and you’ll understand why. You’ll experience dancing, music, crafts and family members of all ages gathered around to visit. You’ll hear laughter and see smiles, as residents return from a daily adventure out on the town. You’ll see gentle direction from patient caregivers, a soothing environment and a loving atmosphere. You’ll notice residents moving freely about, exploring, chatting, or perhaps enjoying the sun in the beautiful backyard. Most of all, you'll feel a sense of warmth and family. This is an active, joyful community where staff and residents have close, caring relationships, where residents are comfortable, safe and secure and where families can enjoy their time visiting together. The facility is well run and has some very nice features, though you can tell the staff are very busy. I would like some more regular updates from the staff regarding my family member, but if I reach out first then they are very responsive.

my sister loves being here

our experience with CountryHouse has been so far so good. they offer a lot of activities, such as: making cookies, floral arrangements, trips out and about outside of community, and morning exercise classes - my sister loves all of these things. everything is located all on one floor and the although the community may be a little short staffed; they are still moderately staffed for the amount of residents they have. the food is great, my sisters likes it a lot. we have no complaints, she loves being here!

Excellent Care in a Warm Friendly Environment

It is the best place I have found for memory care. The staff training and willingness to go beyond the average by the staff make this a great community. The food is plain and not very inventive with too much starch.
