PositiveA month after we decided on Bickford, we moved my dad there, and it was a great fit. My dad enjoyed the last six months of his life there, and I was able to visit often. Bickford called me a few times when they didn't think he would make it through the night and I could be with him quickly. There was a lot of staff and management change. My dad's pain medication ran out three times. Thankfully, I had hospice to call.

PositiveIf you have an individual that is starting to have problems with dementia, it's a very good place to go. We feel very comfortable with them. It's a small community, and they really try to get the residents engaged in activities that are appropriate for each person's level of dementia. The residents all have their own individual apartments, and they can have pets. Bickford of Omaha - Blondo truly specializes in dementia and does a great job with that population.
