PositiveBeautiful property
I have had great service from the beginning contact with Birchwood Highlands. The grounds are beautiful and the apartments are so nice. There are several layouts available. People are friendly and there are an abundance of activities to choose from. I would highly recommend looking at Birchwood.

I don't have much direct contact with staff to comment. My parents seem happy and well adjusted. They have made friends and have many activities from which to select. The few minor issues were resolved quickly. The covered, heated parking structure is a big benefit for the winter months.

I have actually told everyone I know if they ever need a facility like Birchwood for a parent or themselves I would definitely recommend it. After my tour it seemed like exactly what my mom was looking for. And the location to my home was key as well.

PositiveDifficult process to get in but good place once you're there.
The process to get an apartment is excruciating and probably violates the Fair Housing Act. The staff is attentive, and the facility is great. The units are spacious and well maintained. There are welcome activities to help new residents get to know the facility and other residents.
