PositiveYes, it was a good experience. I filled out the application around 7:00 am and I was contacted about 8:00 am, I couldn't believe the quick response. It seemed a place was available for my friend within a couple of days! Which was just what we needed.
★★★★★
PositiveAble to text staff on any issues. Due to severe vision issues from macular degeneration the staff of CNA were reluctant to help things such as with dialing numbers or help with assisting in finding items she could not see that dropped. Or ensuring she has everything she needs at night such as water, remote for tv, light on, know where the slippers are, etc. They say it is not their job but yet the person I dealt with said they should do that. PositiveThe ladies that work in the dining area are very caring and get to know the residents. I like that they watch out for them and if Mom doesn't show up for a meal, they check on her. PositiveGenerally happy there. Most of the staff is very friendly. Honestly there's one front desk person who is not too welcoming but other than her, everyone else has been very nice. My parents are in their 90's so they don't do too many activities, but seem content there. The location works really well for me and my family.

PositiveMy loved one is currently a resident at Blenheim Newport and the experience has been overall very good so far. The cleanliness, friendliness and staff are very good. Based on our experience, I would recommend Blenheim Newport to others as an Assisted Living option.

CriticalFacing the reality that you can no longer care for your loved one in their home is a heartbreaking and difficult decision. After much research, phone calls and visits to facilities, my family and i decided on an assisted living community for memory care. Although, Many caregivers are very kind and caring. It is unfortunate that other caregivers are disrespectful, dismissive and inattentive to the residents.
