PositiveApartment size (studio deluxe) is very adequate for 1 person. Most staff seem knowledgeable and are honest with feedback when I ask questions about the type of care or assistance is given.

Critical[Name Removed] was very helpful and knowledgeable, and compassionate. I didn't talk much to other staff. They told me the rules my husband had to follow or leave. I would go back there if there were more staff to have more activities. The staff was friendly, just not enough of them. I really liked [Name Removed] too because she was always smiling and comforting.

PositiveI can only speak about memory care. Some of the staff members are very good. A few nurses are excellent, some are okay, caregivers are good, and some are very engaged and check on residents hourly and participate in activities. Activities is 2. They cannot keep staff or keep letting them go for reasons we do not know. This area has been poor for the last 8 months. They say they are hiring. The residents are bored. They hired one person who is very good but spread across assisted living and memory care. Many times…

CriticalI was told this facility provided respite care, so a meeting was scheduled. When I arrived, I was told respite care was not an option. I did not meet with the person I was scheduled to meet with, and although the person I did meet with was pleasant and welcoming, she couldn’t answer some of my questions. If respite care was not an option at this time, that should have been told to me before meeting with a representative from the facility.

CriticalShe has only been there a month. She is adjusting. The RNs and aids on the memory Care floor seem very good and proactive Overall experience-not very organized. I think they just changed management company. Cleanliness - my mom's room has not been very clean. The hallways could be cleaner. Memory care really needs an upgrade Friendliness - every one is very friendly Quality of care - not bad. Always room for improvement. Some are 5's and some are 4's. I like that they have RNs 24x7 Admin staff - I think they a…

PositiveThe observant and caring nature of the aides/caregivers. The caregivers treat all residents as individuals and cater to their needs as individuals. They know each resident as a person and treat them with kindness as a friend. The proximity of a nurse 24/7 makes me feel secure leaving my mother in their care. We've been very pleased at Brandywine. The staff is observant and caring. And everyone there is friendly.
