Staff is exceptionally competent and helpful and friendly. To make this place exceptional one must use the facilities, the classes and travel opportunities. It is two miles from the Rehaboth Beach Boardwalk. It is VERY expensive.

Truitt Homestead is only a few years old and is bright and cheery. The staff is so welcoming and attentive. One example is when Mom needed to go for an X-ray on a Saturday. One of the senior staff came in to take her, wait for her and take her home. Lastly, ther residents are so friendly and fun. Mom really enjoys her time there.

They have been fantastic about helping Mom adjust and keeping her informed about what's goin on. They're very inclusive. They see her in the hallway and ask how things are going. They make suggestions about activities and encourage her to come down to the dining room to dine with other residents. They're very responsive. The apartment is excellent and very high-end. It's roomy and bright, and it has everything she needs. It's very convenient.

The community dining room is very nice. They make the new resident feel welcome by showing a picture of the new resident on an internal tv and to help the resident make friends. There is housekeeping once a week that is included. The staff are very friendly. The apartment has a full kitchen and washer and dryer in it. The staff are willing to hang pictures on the wall for the residents.
