Brenden Gardens

My tour went very well. I was impressed with the knowledge and kindness I was shown. My questions about the facility, insurance and the general process of entering into the next phase of my life were met with honesty and concern for my well being. Even though I'm not quite ready to take that step I feel more confident knowing that when the time is right, I'll know what I want and how to do it. Thanks to all!

We were warmly greeted and informed of the many amenities the agency has to offer. This will be a great place for my family member when he makes up his mind to move in.

My experience

Staff are kind and helpful. I'm happy with activities. Mostly I like the bus drivers and availability of bus rides. Food is better than Trustwell. Lunch has two choices which is nice. Salads every day are available. The Size of apartment is a little smaller but sufficient. Building is overall clean and apartment has housekeeping every week. I like it here. Plus I can do my own laundry which pleases me.

Good, but needs Food Service Improvement

When we first reviewed Brenden Gardens over a year ago, we were quite impressed with the quality of the food. After moving in, we noticed a significant need to address food service. As a former licensed food service manager, I feel qualified to honestly critique the food quality. Yet sometimes, food is surprisingly delicious and well prepared. The staff is very kind and welcoming, which I truly appreciate. However, I’m not a fan of how the meals are currently served. I wish the dining room had more flexible hours, as the set times (8, 12, and 5) can be difficult to work with—especially for breakfast. I also prefer not to have buffet-style meals and would rather see assigned seating for a more organized experience. Additionally, service can sometimes be a bit slow. I would not recommend Brenden Gardens

It was extremely overrated. Everything was overrated. I had a car that was snowed into the parking lot within 4 to 6 weeks of me moving in there they had just apparently gotten a new vendor to clean the parking lot and they stunk had to call for my car to have somebody from the building come out and dig me out because all they did was they took probably a truck with something on the front and just went through and snowed all the cars and I had a doctor appointment that was just one of the first things that happened…
