excellent place to live

This is an excellent place to live. We have a great staff that actually cares about each and every one of us. They talk to us like regular people and not like patients unless we are patients at that moment. If I’m about to or having a seizure then they are talking to me like a patient. That’s to be expected. Otherwise they talk to me like a person. I enjoy that. They try to do activities but nobody really wants to come out of their room and do them. Bristol Manor was nice when they had [name removed] as Manager she actually cared and did things correctly. [name removed] the current manager does not care, leadership does not care either, they have given the wrong meds on multiple occasions, they do not follow basic safety protocols, meals don't meet basic balanced meals. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!

Good deal for the money

We're pleased with this facility. My only concern is the understaffing, but I think that's the case for a lot of places right now. The nursing staff is super friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to requests and issues. They stay on top of my loved one's blood sugar and what she's eating that can effect it. The food is good, they have nice meals and a good variety. I would suggest that they maybe try to add more salads for those who have to be careful with carbohydrate intake. Don't waste your time

Don't waste your time or money! It says **clearly** on their website that they DON'T offer care to memory care patients but yet the Eldon facility has my family member, an Alzheimer's patient, in their care. Money is clearly FIRST on their list. On another note, her room is never clean and her necessities are rarely stocked. A great place ??

I have been at the Bristol community now going on four months. This is my first experience with an assisted living facility. I could not be happier. The facility is very accommodating to my needs. I really enjoy the food and activities. It is super clean. Would recommend it to anyone. I even noticed that they have a 2 room suite for a couple and is pet friendly.
