About Brittany House

Brittany House is a homey resort-like memory care community nestled in a residential neighborhood. The community is located near the coastline and is less than 15 miles northeast of downtown Long Beach, California. While living at Brittany House, residents have access to specialized memory care and cozy living accommodations. Highly trained caregivers and licensed nurses provide on-site care around the clock. In addition to being specially trained for memory care, caregivers undergo continuous educational programs to stay up to date on current memory care practices. The community understands memory loss has different stages, which is why there are five neighborhoods separating seniors in the early to late stages of dementia, including hospice care. In these neighborhoods, residents can choose between private and semi-private bedrooms. When residents are not sleeping in their bedrooms, they can explore homelike amenities or participate in daily activities. Throughout the community are themed common rooms and secured courtyards. These common areas host a wide range of activities specifically designed for those with memory loss, like coffee socials, music therapy, history discussions, aroma therapy, trivia, nature walks, pet visits, crafts, exercise, and more. Residents who live at Brittany House can receive specialized care while living in homelike accommodations.
