My mother-in-law enjoys the interaction with the friendly staff. At first there was frustration over filling prescription medications. It seems most residents use Southern to fill Rxs but Southern did not accept their Rx supplemental insurance. If using Southern was going to be an expectation they should have mentioned it when we first visited Brookdale. It seems to be working ok now. I have not visited my in-laws in over a month but I talk to her every day. She mostly comes across being very happy at Brookdale Charleston Gardens. She always says positive things about the staff. I don't know what more I can say other than my husband and I feel they made a wise decision to move there and we do not worry about their care. We live 12 hours from them thus the reason we could not give them help on a daily basis. We look forward to seeing them again in two weeks and hope we find things there was posit…

The staff genuinely care about the residents! Definitely, I would recommend Brookdale to others. The medical staff are knowledgeable and on top of any medical changes in their residents. The PT department is excellent and really seem to care. The rest of the staff are even attentive to family who visit and have concerns.
