The overall experience has been a 1. Cleanliness, as far as cleaning his room, which is included in his rent, has only been done one time in six weeks. It’s supposed to be cleaned every week. Mom’s been at Harmony of Southridge for a year. Recently her oven wasn't working. After having it checked twice they decided to get her a new one. Few days ago they delivered/installed a filthy used stove which took me 2 hrs to clean. I have complained/asked 3 different x to speak with someone.They messaged the maintenance supervisor to s/w me but he never came to the apt. Also, I would say that the carpet in her apt is the original & cheap because when I run her sweeper the only thing coming up is a canister full …

They raised the price after 6 months after promising me it was good for a year and I had it in writing. No one in the office ever returns a phone call and because I choose to pay by check I'm charged an extra 50 dollars a month. Medical staff is good and so are the direct care staff. I want this to be confidential. We are leaving Harmony in a few days. It has been a disappointing stay. There are some good employees here; however management is very poor. Apparently they do not have positions in management filled. My husband has been in memory care. I, a family member, or a paid caregiver have stayed with him 24/7, except for one night. The emergency call system here is very antiquated & I have had to go get help after one hour and 15 minutes & several times after 45 minutes. They are using walk…

It's hard to rate Harmony. Many of the staff worked hard to care for Mom during her 7 months there, but there were serious issues too. She fell several times, and on her last day she suffered a head injury that led to a brain bleed. Hospice placement was delayed, and instead of support, I was told to take her home even though I couldn't care for her in that condition.
