Brookdale Farmington Hills

It was going to be a hard sell to my brother to move to senior living. I had already checked into some other facilities. The salesperson at Brookdale I got was simply amazing. Every objection I brought up for my brother she addressed. A genuine connection with me and helping my brother liking the place. We signed the day of the tour on 1 visit for my brother. What about movers, realtor for old place. She addressed. We love her!

Peace of mind

Room amazing perfect size. Staff seems top notch friendly and responsive and reliable enough for me. Some maintenance nuisance items need to be addressed. Stained carpets in halls some minor eye sores mostly. Food is good and reliable and makes the total cost very reasonable. I'd like to move in there. Overall when she's there she's good. The best chapter for your loved one

Mom loves it and my brother and I have peace of mind. The staff knows everyone. That is extremely comforting. The dining room with wait staff makes it a social event for my mom and she was very isolated in her old apartment. Too many seniors don't eat right etc. This is a godsend on a whole different level.

Feeling misled.

I feel like the Brookdale staff miss represented themselves in order to have us move in. [name removed], the sales director seems to be the most sincere and supportive while [name removed], the activity director is very nicety (nice and nasty). The dining room staff is rude to some of the residents when they are serving food. The staff will enter my Mom's apartment without knocking first. I put in a maintenance request concerning the outside door near my Mom's room and it has not been satisfactorily addressed ye…

I am at peace

[name removed] was the sales representative. She was fantastic. She was the reason we chose Brookdale. She made us feel important and welcome. Once all of the services were explained, I felt comfortable that my uncle would receive the best of care. I would recommend to others

It was old and needed maintenance. The approach to the property has flapping screens on the a few of the porches. There were no kitchenettes in the studio apartment. There was water damage in the laundry room I saw. There was no studio apartment to tour. The apartments were kind of dark.
