There is a large, enclosed courtyard that provides plenty of sunlight; and several homelike spaces for residents to enjoy, including a cozy fireside living room, a game room, and a quaint garden. Here, residents with different cognitive levels and abilities can receive the care they need, when it’s needed most. In addition to person-centered care and security, residents receive assistance with transportation, housekeeping, laundry, and home maintenance. CriticalI should never have moved my wife there. She was only at Brookdale for a very short time. In my opinion, Brookdale is not a secure memory care facility. My wife was able to exit on her own over ten times. The executive director claims they are compliant with the laws and fire regulations which may be true, but it does not address the security of residents. The main entrance is a glass door and is very inviting to residents who can see out to the street. Residents only have to push the emergency crash bar, end…

PositiveThey are all a 5s. We are extremely pleased! It's residential feel. The apartment is so nice and we would absolutely recommend this community to other families!
★★★★★
PositiveThe floor staff is always friendly. they do seem to turn over on a regular basis. the administrative staff has turned over multiple times since my parents have been there. we have mainly had communication issues with the administrative staff They could improve on the food by following more feedback from the residents, I know they can only do this to an extent but it would help if they threw the residence a bone once in a while based off requests. and the menus can get repetitive.
★★★★★
PositiveThe pharmacy costs that weren't explained to us. The activities have been much less than what was explained to us. I have tried to help with activities but the people in that department are rarely in their office. You have a great staff and the facility is very nice.
★★★★★
PositiveVery good social culture and friendliness between residents, and between staff and residents. Mom is very social and preferred and likes the set meal times vs coming and going at any time or wide time ranges.
★★★★★
PositiveThe staff is friendly, sometimes difficult to reach by phone. Response time to a call button is sometimes long. The food is okay. The housekeeping seems to be okay. Communication is pretty good. Overall, we would recommend Brookdale.
