Brookdale Great Bend

Overall it's nice community, with caring , positive staff that are always willing to help.

My mother-in-law chooses not to go to the dinning hall to eat. The staff have all been great in trying to get her to participate in activities but my mother-in-law is very anti-social and likes to be by herself. She has always been this way through out the years. We have no complaints about anything! I would most definitely recommend Brookdale to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

I toured this community and it was a nice place. Very clean facility and friendly staff. It did seem like the Value for Cost wasn't as good.

A good, safe place.

It's a very pleasant place - simply the way the whole setup is done. They have a beautiful outdoor patio with trees, lawns, grass, and it's completely enclosed. The employees that I meet and work with are very friendly and helpful. There are a lot of restrictions on visiting right now due to the pandemic. For instance, I'm not allowed in my friend's room. Costly

They are very expensive. It is a nice place. The food was okay. The room sizes and the layout of the community were good. The staff was very friendly. They had a small outdoor space for residents to use.

I visited Brookdale twice in January along with my mother and my sisters. We were looking for a new assisted living for my mother to move to. On both visits the staff was extremely friendly and I was impressed with how they communicated with the current residents. The residents seemed happy and well cared for. We looked at Brookdale for my father. He did not like that there was assisted living here and was looking specifically for independent.It's definitely a great option for families looking for seniors with more care needs.
