From memory care, to assisted living services like medication management, bathing, dressing, and more, staff tailors each care plan to help residents receive the assistance they need, when they need it. Rest assured our knowledgeable team is also available to answer questions and provide security. In fact, professional staff members are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to any emergencies. Additionally, unique air ionization purification technology has been installed in community common areas to better protect residents from viral infections. Care Types Offered Brookdale Hamilton Wolfe provides both Type A and B assisted living . In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows: Assisted Living Facility A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities: Type A: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted. Type B: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair. Type C (Adult Foster Care): Four-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program. The facility provides supervision and personal care services to residents.
