Dad's experience

Dad said food is ok most of the time. His room is a good size. They allow animals which is good but that comes with accidents on the carpet and their carpet appears very old. You don't smell the urine if you are in the front area but back where my dad lives it is evident. I definitely think they need more activities.

Disappointed.

I would not recommend to anyone requiring any type of specialty care. Don't consider them, unless your loved is capable of providing most care for themselves.

Our experience

What we like the most about the community is first thing the people that work there are very kind. Even though they might be busy they always stopped to ask me & update me about what's going on or just to see how we are. The best part is they are always the same people. The same staff as when he moved there. You don't see that much anymore. People come and go and you never really get to know them or get to know Dad. [name removed] and Staff are knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. I would feel good about my father staying here. I didn't see any red flags. The residents seem happy and eager to socialize. I also am impressed with the time of service of many employees; 10+ years on average. This alone says a lot about the facility and the team managing it.

I know they have activities and different things like that but unfortunately, my mother doesn't participate so I can't really comment on how the activities are. She rarely even leaves her room. I think it is a great community. If I had to comment on anything being improved, it would be the cleanliness of the room and the facility. But I do think it's great for the price and I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for this type of environment
