★★★★★
PositiveThe staff is very kind. The food is excellent with few disappointments. They will always bring food to the clients as needed. Clean. Laundry always handled with care. The hairdresser is great! Projects, Entertainment, Leisure time, keep you as busy as you want to be. The only down side is the occasional repairs or fixes take some time to be corrected. All in all we are. VERY happy with the small numbers. Ranch style so no elevators. They were very kind to find an apt that is very close to everything.

CriticalI would give Brookdale 3 stars. The apartment sizes are a little small. There is not a lot of room. Most of the staff are very nice and helpful. I believe they are understaffed so wait times may be a little long if care is needed. The food leaves a lot to be desired. Some of it is not too bad, but a good portion of it is just okay. The cook at the one is Palm Coast sometimes tends to oversalt instead of using spices to bring out the flavors in the food.

PositiveWhat we like the most about the community is that mostly all of the staff was very kinds and welcoming to my father, but the food needed improvement. Also [name removed] I think her last name was amazing.
★★★★★
PositiveThe admin staff is poor and that is because the director isn't responding to a request and does not interact at all with the residents. The food is fair and that is because it is not consistently good and is sometimes too salty. I think they could do a better job. The nurses and caregivers seem to really care about the residents
★★★★★
PositiveThey took a personal interest in my father in law. Were helpful finding options when his condition declined.
★★★★★
CriticalSome very good people there. Like all elderly care facilities I have seen they are short staffed so the timeliness of responses is not always what you'd like it to be. Definitely some good folks there though. That said we complimented moms care there with 24/7 caregivers of our own choosing. Expensive but necessary.
