Brookdale Southpoint

Brianna and the staff at Brookdale made my mother and I feel welcomed and comfortable. Brianne greeted us on time and spent all the time necessary to answer our questions.We felt the rooms were clean and were a good size for us.

Friendly staff, good care

Overall, staff were friendly, the facility was clean, good size rooms, great recreation directors, biggest complaint was food being cold - but they are working with a new dining manager who was making improvements in food quality.

I love Brookdale

The staff was always very caring and involved. My sister-in-law moved there first. Then we sent my 94 yo aunt there. Then we sent my best friend there.

Brookdale Southpoint is a safe community with caring staff

My mom unfortunately had COVID when she moved. They accepted her but she had to be confined to her room. That was fine, but they forgot to deliver some meals the ones they did were not great. Once she got out of quarantine she was able to go to the dining room and that was much better. There have also been a few times where there were delays in med refills, but I was able to call the nurse director and get it taken care of. Brookdale Southpoint

Food is horrible. The food is cold, the servings are small, they run out of basics like milk for cereal. When serving French toast there's no syrup or butter. The facility common areas are fairly clean. I have borrowed a broom to sweep the floor. The maintenance man and activity man are very good and personable. Dining staff are all but non responsive Some staff members are friendly. But let's improve dining services at Brookdale Southpoint!

Poor. Service not worth the money!

Here 6 weeks very disappointed! Over The phone I was told base cost $[removed] My son did all the paperwork but when I saw the signed contract the cost is $[removed] plus extra care for handling my. Medications . $[removed]for my little dog. Half of January all of February plus things that were not explained. Total cost was over $[removed]! March over $[removed]! False advertising and clearly "bait and switch. Food is average if you like thin slice of bologna. My dog was kicked out after 2 days on out and out lies…
