Residents’ benefit from care coordination overseen by a Brookdale HealthPlus Care Manager (RN). All services are tailored to fit your desired schedule and lifestyle. Rest assured, staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to any emergencies, and an alert system is also in place to promote added safety. In addition to peace of mind, residents can look forward to activities like trips to the Rockwall Theater Center and peach orchard. In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows: Assisted Living Facility A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities: Type A: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted. Type B: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair. Type C (Adult Foster Care): Four-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program.
