With no family nearby and urgency to move from Independent Living, we were so fortunate to be able to move my sister into Brookdale Tallgrass. First, we learned of their exceptional reputation, and it quickly became apparent it was well earned. We, her scattered family, have been so grateful for how much better she's doing there, with the exceptionally attentive and caring staff.

At Brookdale Tallgrass, I know my dad is not just a client, he’s family. The staff truly loves him. After the loss of his wife and coinciding health decline, my dad was nervous and apprehensive about his transition to assisted living. Now, over 2 years later, he speaks about his friends, the fun activities and his favorite staff with joy. Not a social guy, he has become quite social and the life of the party. I moved my husband to Brookdale TallGrass over 4 years ago when our lives were upset from the effects of Sundowner’s Disease due to dementia. The staff there understood the problems and were very helpful during this difficult process. Through the years his memory has continued to decline, but thanks to the great care and routines, he is able to function with minimum aid. The facility, though small in size, is great for getting to know other residents. Activities and outings are varied to appeal to different folks. …

PositiveBrookdale is the place for Mom!
Mom has everything she needs. Her lunch lines has subsided. She’s made some friends. Staff treats her very well. The activities are great and she gets to go a few times paces each month outside of the facility to experience e things she has never done before. No place is perfect, but Brookdale checks all of the boxes. I looked at 23 facilities in Wichita and thanks to [name removed], I found the place for my Mom!

Brookdale Tallgrass Assisted Living provides a family like atmosphere with very good quality of life for the residents. They have many different activities available that keep my mom busy & she loves them. After having my parents at several other facilities over the years, I no longer have to worry about safety.
