The community is clean, including the resident rooms, dining area, and community gathering places. The staff is caring and overall attentive. The call light system was replaced within the last few months. The notice is sent to a pager, which the staff can turn off. It is my understanding that there is not a 2nd notification received. My mom has had to wait for long periods of time (20+ minutes). It's hard to convince my mom to call for assistance to go to the restroom when there is such a long delay. The rooms are…

We needed help with activities of daily living. Our loved one needed a staff trained to help with someone in need of memory care. Brookdale is a great fit! The staff is genuinely caring, and there are numerous activities for interaction. They go above and beyond to help individual residents and address specific needs.

The most familiar faces can become faded. When a family makes a decision to put a love one under the care of someone else that decision is not made easily. Being confident in somebody else that isn’t family is another tough one. The care mom receives from Brookdale is excellent. The staff finds the time for each resident. The community is small and that’s probably what I like most about it. It’s very warm and welcoming.
