Brookdale Williamsville

Our family's experience

I pretty much never give 5 ratings because there is always room for improvement. The staff is very friendly and seems to relate well to the residents. Rooms are a decent size for a bed, table, bedside drawers and dresser. Bathroom is older but sufficient. They have a daily activities schedule for residents who choose to participate.

We recently toured the facility in Williamsville, NY. We found it clean and in good repair. The residents we met seemed happy and our tour guide and staff were friendly and knowledgeable. There is a nice common area and plenty of activities. There was no dedicated chapel for prayer, but the tour guide said they would put Sunday Mass on the television in the common area. Also, there were no individual thermostat controls in the resident's rooms. Overall, we would be very comfortable that mom would receive good care …

I was very impressed by the staff and the attention given to keeping memory care residents involved in life. The residents appear to have many opportunities to remain engaged and feel like part of a community.

A Satisfied Family Experience

The Staff is friendly and attentive. When I have a question or concern, they address my need in a timely way. If a friend meets Brookdale's criteria for admission, I would highly recommend this place.

Overall, my mom is safe and well cared for. They are on top of her meds. Her room is cleaned often and they do the laundry multiple times per week. She is always clean and put together. She gets her hair done there and her nails. She is encouraged to participate in activities. They made a special effort to match her with other residents with common backgrounds and at the same level as my mom. She has found her people. Staff is informative, understanding, and always willing to help in anyway they can

My experience with Brookdale so far has been a very comfortable and warm experience, the staff answers my questions make necessary adjustments and always work to make me feel comfortable as they take care of my mom. They often say “thank you” to me for letting them care for my mom. They acknowledge that this is not an easy process for my mom and me as well. So far the experience has been good and I would tell anyone to check out Brookdale if they have to place a love one.
