They're great for what they are and what they do, but they didn't have the staff or equipment to take care of my mother so we had to move her to more of a skilled nursing facility.

Direct care staff are generally great. The small size. Administrator is on top of just about everything. General building maintenance (inside and outside) could use more attention (outside lighting, door weather stripping, cleanliness of doors, window blinds need replacing in some apartments, move-in cleanliness of apartment), etc.

The facility for memory care is small, only 12 rooms, which gives it a nice homey feeling. The staff has been there for a long time which I felt was a plus. They reach out to us with any concerns and genuinely show care for the residents health and welfare. You furnish the room for your loved one which allowed us to make it very much my mom's style and comfortable.

Overall Mom and I are very happy with Brookfield. So far, the only thing we find lacking is their menu, which isn't planned by them, but by a Nutritionals. I think that person needs to learns the needs of the elderly. Many of them have diabetes, as does my Mom, and they don't seem to take that into consideration. And veggies are almost non-existant. The rooms and staff are wonderful. The staff seem very caring, and always welcoming when I come. They have something for the residents to do every day. Mom loves it he…
