PositiveOur experience
The friendliness of the residents. Yes, I would recommend concordia of Bella Vista to others. It is really a great place. There's a lot of activities always going on and everyone I've encountered has been so friendly. Only adjustment was going from a 2000 square-foot house to a one bedroom apartment but I'm definitely coping with that. They clean once a week and the food is very good to get choices so there's always something and if you don't like either one of the entrées they have a grill where you can get burger…

Dad no longer lives there it was ok but pricey and new management but lots of activities if they are social. They were working on updating some of the units and property it was just too much for dads limited social abilities.

PositiveGreat place for retirees
Everyone working there seems to know my mom's name. They smile and laugh, and they bend over backwards to help her. It was the best decision to go there. The sides and salads are good to very good but the main course meat is often sub par. Tastes very cheap. They need to quit trying to make them fancy and stick to things that are reliable. They have always have such beautiful decorations up and she really enjoys the variety of entertainment offered!

They recently changed management so othered people may have better experience.. Expensive studio sized apartment, fridge and oven aren't standard size they do have house keeping but if you cant read well or are shy they don't go out of way to invite you to activities

PositiveGreat place, but food service needs improvement.
We rate at 4, due to the ongoing problems with their dining facility. The people there when [name removed] moved in were excellent and meals were delightful. However, there have been at least 2 turnovers in staffing and the meals have gotten worse and worse, both in quality and nutrition. Often, the menu states one thing, and then something else is served, even half-warm pizza gotten at a local restaurant. The other facilities and staff are still good, but something really needs to be done with their food service.

Concordia of Bella Vista is more like an apartment complex with a kitchen serving meals and room and laundry service. Once a resident needs help beyond that like incontinence they are forced to leave. Otherwise a clean place to live.
