Understaffed , unskilled staff, no RN as noted in pamphlet , certain staff stealing from families and borrowing money that was never paid back , learned staff doing drugs... someone must be available to be there all the time to over see care of your loved one..

CriticalDisappointed in what was presented verses what reality is.
The facility doesn't have adequate staffing. The brochure mentioned they they have a chef in staff and they do not. A lot of the food is canned food and they eat a lot of hot dogs and sandwiches. They should be upfront with the potential residents about staff shortages and how it's handled. Also, their fire extinguishers are out dated by 2 years. They could really use a handy man. They need fresh fruits and vegetables. They need to no run out of supplies like milk and butter fruit and bread paper towels. They …

The thing that sticks out the most about Cambridge Hillside Retirement community would be the personnel, they are all extremely friendly. The apartment sizes/accommodations here are very nice sized. They also keep them very clean. I would absolutely recommend Cambridge Hillside to others looking.
